Wigan Footballer Marlon King Convicted.

Wigan Athletic striker Marlon King has been found guilty of touching a woman and then breaking her nose after she refused his approaches in a night club.

A jury at London’s Southwark Crown Court unanimously convicted the 29-year-old Jamaica international on Thursday of sexual assault and causing actual bodily harm with a punch last December in London.

The victim, a 20-year-old university student, and two friends, who claim King pestered them as well, were among a number of witnesses who identified King.

King told the court that he was the victim of mistaken identity.
