Big Brother 9 Lisa Appleton

Lisa Appleton was one of the most popular Big Brother 9 contestants lasting until week 11 of the 12 week series. She made us laugh, cry and sometimes wonder what the heck she was talking about.
We are massive Big Brother fans and would like to think we are classed as friends now. So when we approached Lisa for an interview she was kind enough to say yes. Doing this interview was a dream for us.
We asked Lisa how much her life has actually changed to which she replied:
“Since leaving the BB house, life has changed dramatically…I’m well known in every town & to my delight have a lovely following! I feel like I have a strong connection with the general public, who look up to me for advice regarding fitness, fashion, nutrition, relationships & general interest in what I’m up to!!!
Do a lot of Charity work, which has seen me travelling round the country & visiting places I’ve never been before (all great causes).
Priceless moments are seeing people’s happy faces when they see you for the first time…it’s amazing!!
Some fantastic perks…you get invites to a lot of celeb parties & events!

Our next question to Lisa touched on what she would like to be doing in 1 year’s time?
I’d like to be running my own Gym & Health Center! Running Youth Centers in every town to get teenagers off the streets, making more T.V appearances & a fly on the wall with my husband to be, Mario.

We can absolutely see Lisa achieving her goals.

We decided to ask her a few fun questions next;

1) What’s on your iPod? “Beyoncé”

2) What’s your favourite chocolate? “Thornton’s”

3) X factor, Strictly or Jungle? “X factor”

4) Who is your idol? “Madonna”

5) What is your worst vice? “Chip butties with tons of butter and washed down with a few large glasses of Vino followed by dia berg ice cream

6) Who would you be for a day? “Superman…to save the day and prevent tragedies.

7) What makes you laugh? “The audition on the X-Factor & Britain’s got talent, when they can’t sing or act; Little Britain; me & my daughter laugh all the time! I laugh a lot in general at daft things, can’t take life to seriously…ha-ha! Mario makes me laugh with his fake tan & his character (health & safety)

What makes you cry? “Been re-united with my daughter when i haven’t seen her for awhile! When Mario proposed to me! Seeing my sisters baby for the first time. Losing a loved one is heart breaking and sad endings to films.
